This luxury bathroom remodel began with a client who wanted expert guidance to create a space suited for aging in place while still appealing to future buyers. We collaborated on layout and materials, designed a custom vanity, expanded the shower, selected a freestanding tub, and assisted with all technical decisions. After opening the floor, we discovered an improperly routed electrical wire while lowering the shower pan for a curbless design and resolved it immediately to keep the project on schedule.
The remodel replaced the old heated floor, outdated vanity, cramped shower, and poor ventilation with a new Hydroblok curbless shower, Suntouch heated flooring, blocking for future grab bars, a freestanding tub, custom oak cabinetry, and upgraded ventilation. Completed in five weeks on a $55–60k budget, the project delivered an elegant, functional bathroom that the client loved, with special praise for the craftsmanship and tilework.
