3. Estimates, Proposals & Contracts

Any verbal or written estimate is only a preliminary approximation until confirmed by a formal contract.

Your project begins only after:

Review and acceptance of the proposal

A signed contract

Initial payment or deposit

Verified scheduling availability

Project timelines are estimates. Unforeseen conditions, material delays, or change orders may affect the schedule.

4. Change Orders

Changes to the original scope — initiated by the client or caused by site conditions, must be approved in writing before additional work begins.

5. Payments & Billing

Payment schedules follow the structure outlined in your contract. Missed or late payments may result in:

Paused work

Rescheduled trades

Additional fees

Contract suspension or termination

Financing is available through partnered lenders; terms are between you and the financing provider.

6. Guarantees & Warranties

We provide a 12-month workmanship warranty on completed remodeling projects.

This warranty covers defects due to improper installation but does not cover:

Normal wear and tear

Improper maintenance

Water damage unrelated to workmanship

Material manufacturer defects (covered by the manufacturer)

Client-supplied materials

We stand behind our craftsmanship and will address legitimate issues within the warranty period.

7. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

Provide clear access to the job site

Maintain a safe working environment

Secure pets and personal belongings

Follow agreed communication channels

Make timely decisions to avoid project delays

If the client chooses to remain living in the home during construction, they acknowledge that the process is dusty, noisy, and disruptive.

8. Materials, Suppliers & Selections

We work with trusted vendors and brands, as listed throughout our service pages. Availability of materials can change. 

Selections must be finalized within the timeframe provided during pre-construction to avoid delays. 

Clients may request to supply certain materials; however:

Materials must meet our installation standards

Defective or incompatible materials may cause delays

We are not responsible for client-supplied product failures

9. Project Photos, Videos & Testimonials

With your permission, we may capture project photos or videos for our portfolio, marketing, or educational content.

We will never share:

Your address

Personal information

Financial details

Your privacy and safety are always protected.

10. Limitation of Liability

CraftHaus Home Remodeling is not liable for:

Indirect or consequential damages

Delays caused by third-party manufacturers, suppliers, or subcontractors

Damage caused by existing hidden conditions (mold, rot, faulty wiring, etc.)

Client-provided materials or instructions

Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question.

11. Intellectual Property
