This kitchen project began with a detailed design phase in collaboration with our cabinet vendor to create a fully customized layout that addressed the client’s failing and inefficient space. After planning the necessary wall changes and securing city approval, construction moved forward while the custom European-style cabinets were being built.
During demolition, we uncovered a long-term hidden leak in addition to the known dishwasher issue, repaired it, and properly dried the hardwood before refinishing. The client, an engineer who valued precision, wanted to maximize every inch of the uniquely shaped kitchen, which led us to use custom cabinetry with special joinery details. Completed in eight weeks with an 80k budget, the project delivered a functional, well-planned kitchen that satisfied both the homeowners and the city.
